This year has been a wild ride for me and, I think, for most of us. Time feels like it is moving faster than ever, and it feels more important than ever to tend to our hearts. As a society, we have reached a threshold, and for those who are conscious and feel it, we truly need to practice the art of slowing down, which can feel hard in this climate.
One of my proudest accomplishments is starting the year with “Jillian’s Pop-Up Yoga” and ending with “Rosey Seas.” Learn more about that in this blog post here.
For those of you who have been with me from the beginning (almost four years now), I feel honored that you continue to trust, see, and understand me and my vision. For those of you who are newer to this community, thank you, welcome, and I am glad you are here. The more we live, breathe, and move from a place of truth and authenticity, the more life will open up for us. The doorway to this way is found inward, in our hearts.
Reflecting On Our Journey
This year, as I journeyed through the layers of my own heart, I discovered:
- Patience is essential for any process I am in.
- I am worthy of being deeply loved by another.
- It is safe to trust myself and others.
- Things unfold when they are ready; keep holding the vision.
- My inner child deserves to be heard, felt, and seen.
- I am enough, even as just a resting body.
- The more I meet myself with softness in hard moments, that is love.
- I do have the power to break free from my abandonment wounds.
My favorite is that I am worthy of being the practitioner and space holder I want to be. It’s okay to change direction and start something new. It’s also okay that others may not understand my journey. I want to work with people who resonate with me and my story.
I want to share my second favorite manifestation of 2024, a beautiful romantic partnership. For years, I focused solely on my work and myself (which I know was truly essential)—the second half of this year brought me the man of my dreams—a man who truly walks beside me. It has been a process for me to open my heart to his. The slowness of our evolution in the beginning stages allowed me to begin to accept the love and trustworthiness I deserve gently. Ultimately, the passion and energy I had cultivated within myself led me here. The work continues, as it always does. Our closest relationships become our best mirrors for our healing. I share this because it is joyous and perhaps brings hope to whatever part of your journey!
